AFM has a sophisticated search engine across a comprehensive database to provide information pertaining to Australian Hedge Fund Managers and the Hedge Fund industry in general, including a summary of the trading strategy, level of funds under management, details of past performance, personnel and other key information relating to the Fund Manager’s operation and activities. 

AFM offers an independent source of information.  The service is free, but all users are required to register to access details on individual Fund Managers and/or Funds. 

AFM attempts to provide at least basic information on every Hedge Fund with the information provided either made available by the Fund Manager themselves, or from various sources within the industry.  AFM’s objective is to provide balanced and independent information.

AFM therefore provides investors with objective information and tools to allow them to better understand the industry, the investment strategies and Fund Managers. AFM does not try to "rate" or recommend any specific Fund Manager or strategy.

AFM does not charge Fund Managers for including their basic information in the tables, but may charge for specific promotional services.
